A federal judge has reinstated White House press credentials for three previously banned news organizations, directing the administration to restore their full access while their legal dispute remains unresolved. The ruling affects CNN, MSNBC, and Politico, which had been excluded over criticism of their coverage. Legal representation for the outlets emphasized the importance of unfettered media access in a functioning democracy. The decision now leaves the administration to comply or risk further legal consequences as the case proceeds.

The judge ordered full access for CNN, MS NOW and Politico while their legal challenge moves forward. Geoff Bennett discussed more with Ted Boutrous, the attorney representing the three outlets.
