Serial sex offender Sheryl Levy has been handed a life sentence without parole after a string of horrific crimes that left two women dead and another brutally assaulted. Levy, who had a history of violent sex offenses, was able to continue his reign of terror due to errors made by police and prosecutors. Despite a previous conviction, Levy was allowed to roam free and committed a series of heinous crimes, including the murders of Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo in March 2025 and Sheryl Wilkins five months later. A third victim, a 35-year-old woman, survived an attack by Levy in January 2025 and provided crucial testimony that helped bring him to justice.
