Far-right activists have gathered in Portsmouth to protest the arrival of a small boat carrying asylum seekers, marking the first time a large group has attempted to block newly arrived migrants from being processed. Emergency services, including a helicopter, plane, and lifeboats, responded as the vessel was intercepted near the coast. The boat’s passengers have since been brought ashore, with plans to relocate them to a processing facility in Kent.
