A landmark dance festival is set to make its debut in Australia’s southern hemisphere, showcasing an ambitious program of 11 international works from Europe, Africa and beyond—nearly triple the scale of previous Sydney offerings. Among the highlights is Outsider, a visually stunning French production blending ballet and elite athleticism, as dancers perform on high wires and slack lines to avant-garde music. The event will bring together 174 performers and crew, including artists who have collaborated with major figures in global music and dance. With its grand scale and innovative choreography, the festival promises a rare spectacle for Australian audiences.
