Over the past few months, we’ve been covering the trial and sentencing of anti-ICE protesters who were given decades in jail after being convicted on terrorism charges, following a protest last year at the Prairieland Detention Center in Texas. The case has raised alarms for free speech advocates after the government labeled the protesters as ‘antifa’ and prosecutors successfully used zines as evidence in the convictions.
