Olivia Pope was always bad and was only ever going to get worse.

I’m on my second rewatch of Scandal and as I get on season two WOW I am realizing how awful Olivia Pope was in the beginning and it truly makes sense for the dumpster fire she ended with in season 7. Although some of it was due to poor writing and just writing the most ridiculous shit ever, I do really think she was always going to end up worse. A product of her environment both from her parents being psychos and the political corruption she is by constantly. I think it’s funny people say she went totally insane after the kidnapping but she literally had Harrison lie to Abby and use her abusive ex to prevent her and David from pursuing Defiance!!!
